Shangri-Lager Now Available!

As you may (or may not) know, we have had the pleasure of working with River Cottage and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on a collaboration for the past few years – the fantastic Shangri-Lager! So good in fact, we’ve now made it available for you to buy through our web shop!

So what is it?

Combining the brewing expertise of Freedom and the organic heritage of River Cottage we created this deliciously drinkable, organic lager, with a crystal clear, crisp taste and an ABV of 4.6%. It’s an enduringly hoppy and harmonious beer – so that’s why we called it Shangri-Lager!

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall established River Cottage in 2004, after the success of his iconic Channel 4 programme Escape to River Cottage. A fixture on the British food scene, the River Cottage team are passionate about food integrity and promoting local, organic and sustainable produce – the perfect partner for Freedom!
