We have recently invested over £2million into our brewery, giving us the ability to work with other brewers to brew, bottle, can and keg beers.
Established in 1995, Freedom Brewery has spent three decades honing its craft as a leading British brewery dedicated to sustainability and exceptional flavour.
The brewing team remain at the heart product quality. Brewing processes have been developed to drive consistency and consumer satisfaction. We focus on brewing well-balanced, vegan-friendly beers using sustainable practices. The brewery is particularly passionate about revitalising the appreciation for lager, showcasing its potential for remarkable quality and taste.
From utilising the brand’s own unique water supply to employing a natural reed bed filtration system for recycling wastewater, Freedom Brewery ensures that every step of its brewing process is environmentally conscious. The Brewery’s commitment to low-temperature fermentation and long maturation processes results in naturally carbonated, unpasteurised beers that burst with delicate, refined flavours.

First we mill our British malted barley.
We add fresh spring water to the malt and add heat to make sweet 'wort'.
We separate the spent grain from the wort. The grain is dried and used as cattle feed.
Bittering hops are added and the wort is boiled, stabilising it.
Aroma hops are added to the wort before the whirlpool separates the wort from remaining solid ingredients.
The wort is cooled via a heat exchanger (cold water cools the hot liquid and in turn heats the cold, ready to go into the mash conversion vessel).
Yeast is added to the wort which metabolises the sugar into alcohol. Naturally occurring CO2 is creating natural carbonation, delivering a champagne-like bubble.
The fermented liquid is cooled and left to mature for a minimum of 28 days to deliver layers of soft, rounded flavour.
The beer is filtered to deliver a bright beer. No isinglass (fish bladders) is used making all our beers certified vegan.
We filter rather than heat pasteurise to protect the delicate flavours of our beers.
