Our Initiatives

Water

We use local well water throughout the brewing process. This means no need to transport water from other sources.

Beehives

We are committed to sustainability, not only through waste and resource programmes, but also encouraging biodiversity.

Reed Beds

Brewing wastewater is cleaned through a natural anaerobic digestion treatment system, and filters back into the local watershed.

The plant is right next to the brewery, keeping it local, and eliminating the need to move water unnecessarily.

Location

Based in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside just outside Burton-on-Trent, a national home of brewing for generations.

Spent Grain

Once the mashing process is complete, the malt is separated from the wort and the “spent grain” goes to a local farm for cattle feed… waste not, want not!

Recycling

Paper waste is diverted from landfill through our office recycling program. Shredded paper goes to a local farm as bedding for calves!
