Job Description – Area Sales Manager London

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive commercial success, customer relationships and strategic development within independent on-trade and groups via direct delivery and working with wholesale partners. With high levels of passion and energy, the successful candidate will have responsibility for developing strong relationships, new business, account development and excellent sales in the defined territory.

Essential criteria:

Background exposure to working with premium drinks
Sales experience in either drinks or FMCG sales
Demonstrable evidence of success, creativity and commercial acumen
Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive commercial success
A dynamic approach to sales
Graduate/Degree

The Role:

To develop profitable sales within a pre-determined base of On Trade Outlets within London as well as seeking and winning new business distribution.
To attend and represent Freedom Brewery at relevant Trade and Consumer events and where appropriate to undertake mutually agreed promotional activity to build consumer trial and awareness.

The role is home based and you are expected to manage your time to successfully develop lasting relationships with key contacts within the trade.
Monitor, collate and collect market intelligence to utilise in planning and customer communications.

To succeed in this role, it takes a hardworking and tenacious individual with an articulate demeanour and exceptional relationship building skills. You will have a proven track record of driving sales and distribution from within the On Trade drinks industry or the FMCG world and a clear understanding of the industry and current working relationships and networks. You will be self-motivated and organised, working on your own initiative and managing your diary through effective journey and call planning.
